Life Member"The application of synthetic organic chemistry to problems in biology" is the central theme of my research interest which covers Bioorganic and Medicinal Chemistry and it involves the design and development of potential antiviral and antimicrobial agents against infectious diseases. Specific goals currently under investigation include the development of multifunctional anti-HIV, anti-HCV, anticancer and antibacterial agents.
