Anwesha Haldar is serving as an assistant professor in Geography at the East Calcutta Girls' College, Kolkata. She has been a UGC Research Fellow (2013-18) and has completed her Ph. D. on Sustainable Energy Management of Sundarban region, India from the Department of Geography, University of Calcutta. Dr. Haldar has graduated from Loreto College, Kolkata and has done her post-graduation from the University of Calcutta. She has taught geography at the post-graduate level at the University College
